It has been almost one month we lost Sean and Mr. Stegner.
I have known Sean since 3rd grade because we were rivals in soccer. I never knew him personally until I joined his soccer team in 2005. My mother used to carpool Sean, Joey, and me to soccer practice and whenever the music was on, he would sing off key which we got accustomed to. No offense, but sometimes, he reminded me of Sanjaya because of his hair and singing. Every day since we came to LMS, Sean, Joey, and I would always play football at the bus-stop. If he ever caught the football while I was cornerback (which was often) he would rub in my face but I ignored that. He and Joey would insist me to do something that won't be told now. What makes me really sad of his loss is he never got to play on my new ping-pong table that we were going to play in 2008. I know that Sean took the TJ exam and I wish we could go to TJ together.

I also personally appreciate the pictures that Mr. Stegner took of me during soccer games. The team was fortunate to have a wonderful photographer.

Stay strong Stegner family. I always pray for you all.

This tragic story has strangled my heart. My deepest heart-felt condolences go out to Mrs Stegner and her children. We prayed for you at my church and we are putting funds together towards your scholarship fund. May strength and piece be with you. God bless!

Yumi-san,
I just found out about your family's accident ten minutes ago. I am very shocked.
It has been just several month since you, Melissa, and Sean kindly came to my son's birthday party...

Stegners,
I am terribly sorry for all of you guys. I know how it feels to have lost a loved one. I go to Sean and Melissa's school, and everyone loved Sean there. We all are grieving the loss of your wonderful son and father. You guys continue to be in our thoughts and prayers everyday. Sorry for what happened, Sean was a good kid.
~Hannah

Dear Stegner Family,

I got to know Scott this past summer when he was helping prepare LM for our DISA CTO Day. We exchanged various emails and spoke on the phone for weeks, and we finally did meet in August at the event. I felt very comfortable and pleased with all his success on our project and was looking forward to our next steps. You can imagine my shock when I found out, just today, about his passing. Scott is one of the nicest people I have met a LM in the last year. We will miss him and certainly you will too. I wish you strength in this difficult time, but please remember he was well -liked and respected at LM and we will all miss him.
