Sean and I were great friends in 3rd grade and I could tell him anything. I even trusted him with the secret of who I liked. He laughed, but he knew it meant a lot to me to keep it a secret, so he didn't tell anyone. He and I were always close and did everything in school together. Even if no one really knew how close we were, I still know that our friendship was unbreakable.

Sean was my buddy. I have known him for a really long time and he was a really big part of my life. Back in 6th grade, Sean, Wade Arduini, Chase Walter, and Myself sat back in the corner basically the entire year. We would talk about sports and such and we joked that nothing he said could be taken seriously since he was a UVA fan. At the end of the day, we would hide his UVA jacket from him. I really considered Sean as one of my best friends. I would come over frequently to your house and play Halo 2 with Sean. This year, unfortunately, I wasn't on his team at school, the Eagles. Although I was in his Algebra class. I was something they called "Cross-Teamed". We would frequently have races in class to see the first 5 to finish their worksheets and take it up the front of the room. The first 5 recieved a piece of candy. There were many times when Sean came in 6th and said he should get candy too since "his desk was so far away". Everybody in class loved him. Especially Mrs. Shanahan. We will never forget. Sean will be so missed. He is in my heart and always will be. Things like this can only be healed by time. Gather friends and family and fight through this tragic time. Your entire family was loved by so many. Know that you can turn to all when you need them. Stay strong. Love forever. They will never be forgotten.

the funeral today was one of the hardest things i've ever done. hearing melissa speak just made me lose it. i loved how you had the courage to go up there and say what you said. i cant even imagine all the pain your going through. words cant even describe how sad this loss is. i used to be super close with melissa, and i aways say this, but i really do have some amazing memories with sean and your dad, and you, melissa. i really really hope we can get alot closer over the year, and stay that way for as long as possible, cause right now you probably want and need as many friends as possible. we all love and miss them, and want to help. you will be fine in the end, and you will realize that they are in a better place now, and are watching over you like a gaurdian angel. melissa, they are your two best guardian angels. i love yu guys, and stay strong. if you need anything, melissa has my number, give me a call. xoxoxoxoxo -anna

dear stegner family, ive known you guys ever since melissa was in my kindergarten class at union mill. me and melissa became really close and in 3rd grade were best friends. being seperated by different classes the following year, kinda broke us apart, but we still kept in touch. in sixth grade we became close again, and i remember having a sleepover with melissa and jennifer zenko. we decided to pull an all nighter, and were watching tv around 5 in the morning with sean and mrs. stegner. me jen and melissa wanted to watch ugly betty, and sean was argueing with us about watching it. it was really funnyy, and we ended up watching it anyway, and i remember sean basically passed out in a chair sleeping. i have so many more memories with you guys and im sooooo sorry this had to happen to make everyone realize to live life to the fullestt. if you guys ever need anything, me and my family are here for youu. i love you all, and please stay strong. (:

Dear Sean & Mr. Stegner, I know all this wasn't your fault. The lady that killed you two was a drunk. It gets me so mad about all of this. During the Summer at the pool Sean and I used to play football with Heather Vass and a couple of others. We had soo much fun playing keep away. I miss you two soo much! You will be in my prayers. -Kristen Nevlud<333 (:
